One of God's most powerful characteristics is compassion. The very word compassion means "to suffer together, to be involved in other peoples' suffering to the point of taking action to help."
Our Mission is to help mobilize and assist the local church in responding to the needs of victims of disasters and poverty.
To fulfill this mission:

We respond to disasters both domestic and international through local churches and partnerships with other relief organizations.

We develop disaster response teams forming Disaster Response Task Forces.

We mobilize churches to respond to disasters and specific projects domestically and internationally.

We assist with organizing and leading short-term development and missions projects using volunteers from local churches.
Disaster Relief
We respond to natural or manmade disasters or poverty by working through a local church or sometimes through a faith based organization. World Compassion Network assists a local church in reaching out to victims in their community by providing experience, equipment, and relief supplies. We have responded to hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, famine, earthquakes and tsunamis, and war on the continents of North America, South America, Europe, Asia, and Africa.
Missions
We are passionate about missions at WCN. Why? Because God is passionate about loving the poor and needy. As followers of Christ we are called to get involved, "to put our love into action". There is something beautiful and unique that occurs when we allow the love of God to flow through us as we love others. We become an extension of Him and the world gets a glimpse of His love through us.
Run/Walk for Hunger
The Run/Walk for Hunger 5K is our annual Compassion Projects that helps fight hunger right here in Kosciusko County. 100% of the net proceeds will go to local organizations to help fight poverty in our community.
Over the past 14 years more than 5,600 people and businesses have participated and raised over $86,000! Join this year and help us hit $100,000!
