Volunteer Disaster Relief Training

Have you ever wanted to help victims of disasters? Would you like to know how to prepare yourself and family if a disaster arises in our community? If so, we are planning a one day event on May 16th, 2015 that you will want to attend. World Compassion Network (WCN) and Tim Grisham Ministries (TGM) are combining their knowledge and experience to present “How to Be Prepared to Respond When Disaster Strikes” S.O.M.E. Volunteer Disaster Training. This training will cover topics such as: Helping Victims, Staying Safe, Personal Preparation, Basic Equipment Operations and much more. This training will increase your effectiveness to be a true help in case of a disaster emergency.

When: May 16th, 2015 from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Where: TGM’s Headquarters in Kokomo
Cost: $15 (Lunch included)

WCN and TCM have worked together for many years while responding to tornados in Moore, Oklahoma, Indiana, Tennessee and Alabama. The two organizations met while serving the victims of Katrina in 2005. Please do not hesitate to call or email with questions or concerns.
