Greg Rauen

Greg Rauen

Job Title:
Executive Director

Started volunteering in 2004

After serving in the United States Air Force, Greg began a long career in the medical device industry. While in this industry, he worked in several different areas that included product development, manufacturing, business systems, and business unit management. In 2004 Greg and his wife Robyn felt prompted by the Holy Spirit to join Joe Wilkey, the founder of World Compassion Network [WCN], on a mission trip to Honduras. As a result of that life enriching experience, Greg volunteered to serve as a mission team leader and board member for WCN.  Then after many other mission trips, Greg joined WCN full time in January 2011. His prior professional work experiences provide Greg with a broad background to manage the day-to-day operations of WCN. Greg also works as the disaster relief coordinator helping to lead response efforts both in the United States and around the world. Past disaster relief experience includes the Tsunami from the Japan earthquake, Moore Oklahoma tornadoes, and Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.  Working in compassion ministry to serve the poor and suffering is not only rewarding and exciting, but it is also a labor of God’s love. Even better, is the opportunity to do kingdom building by wrapping what WCN does around the Word of God. Greg and his wife Robyn, who assists in leading mission teams and in responding to disasters, and their children reside in Indiana.

About WCN

One of God's most powerful characteristics is compassion.  The very word compassion means "to suffer together, to be involved in other peoples' suffering to the point of taking action to help."
