Hurricane Dorian

September 4, 2019

Disaster relief is a very dynamic environment. Since Florida is escaping much of Dorian's effects, we will be diverting supplies staged in Florida to the Bahamas.  The devastation in the Bahamas is almost unbelievable.  We are grateful to be partnering with Crossroads Alliance and Ministries to help the victims in the Bahamas.

We are taking our 8,000 lbs load of water, nonperishable food, paper products, and hygiene supplies to Ocala to donate to the Bahama relief effort.  We will help our partner load general aviation aircraft flying these and other supplies into the Bahamas.

Should Dorian have any significant impact in the Carolinas later this week, WCN will bring a load from Florida up the cost to a church requesting help.  We will continue to monitor our church contacts in the Carolinas while working on the Bahama relief effort.

Please join us in praying for the victims of Hurricane Dorian.  We are praying that the donated supplies will bring glory to God and people will be saved.  If you would like to donate please click here.  Thank you!

Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me, for in you my soul takes refuge; in the shadow of your wings I will take refuge, till the storms of destruction pass by. Psalm 57:1-2
