Fun night with Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church!

Millions of people are affected by natural disaster every year in the United States alone. Many lose their homes, loved ones, precious belongings, and are left without hope or protection after these devastating events. Through acts of compassion, we are able to come together and help create hope for families in the U.S. who are affected by natural disaster. Our new partnership with Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church of Warsaw, IN is a perfect image of compassion being lived out!

Last week, we spent a wonderful night with volunteers from Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church here in Warsaw, Indiana. The church raised support and supplies to pack over 50 Personal Item Kits to be distributed to families in times of disasters around the United States. To share with you what PIK kits are....

A Personal Item Kits consists of...

4 - Wash Cloths

4 - Hand Towels

2 - Rolls of Toilet

1 - Manicure Kit

1 - 11oz can of shaving cream

4 - 6 disposable razors

2 - Sticks of deodorant

2 - Bars of Soap

1 - Bottle of Shampoo

1 - Bottle of Conditioner

4 - Tooth Brushes

2 - Tubes of Toothpaste

1 - Container of Wet Wipes

2 - Combs or Brushes

1 - Bottle of Lotion

1 - Container of Hand Sanitizer

1 - Small box of Band Aids

Evert box is a gift of hope and protection to families during times of disaster. In many cases, families are not easily able to go to the store and gather these supplies because of places being empty, shut down, or damaged. They are without basic necessities. By providing these items, we are able to share a message of love that comes from Jesus Christ!

We are so grateful for their partnership like these.

If you or your organization would like to get involved in a Personal Item Kit (PIK) drive, please contact Joshua Varab, Disaster Relief Coordinator, at 574-304-6868 or by email at joshua.varab@gmail.com

Sincerely,

World Compassion Network Team
